We set out with Mismatch Brewing to make it taste as close to a Frog Cake as possible and have nailed it using an Oat Cream base dosed with Vanilla beans, a dash of lactose and some secret syrups.

We're kicking off this Pint of Origin with a visit from a true veteran of the NZ beer industry.
Tracy Banner has been making beer for over four decades and has been dubbed the 'Mother of NZ Brewing'. Her career began in England, with brewing giants Greenalls and Bass, and upon her move to New Zealand in 1994 she played a pivotal role in the craft beer revolution that has since swept the country, including being the first woman at the helm of iconic Dunedin brewery, Speight's. As of 2019 Tracy was awarded an Honorary Fellowship to the Brewers Guild of New Zealand, the Guild's highest honour. Today Tracy is the owner and master brewer of Sprig and Fern Brewing Co, an award-winning brewery in the Tasman district (South Island).
Tracy will be joining us fresh from judging the AIBAs, and we're hosting a mini tap takeover of Sprig and Fern beers in her honour - some never before seen in the country!
What better way to start our appreciation of Queensland's finest than with Moffat who have consistently won at the AIBA's, Royal Queensland Beer Awards and the Indies. We'll be pouring them all weekend long.

On May 11, join us as the Termi becomes a beer festival featuring independent Melbourne brewers North of the Yarra, each vying for a three-month tap residency at the Termi. The twist? You as a ticket holder, have all the power!
For $85pp, you will enjoy a three-hour beverage package featuring unlimited beers, roaming canape-style snacks, and tokens to vote for your favourite beers.
A raffle ticket upon entry puts you in the draw to spin the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ where you can win some prizes!
As a ticket holder, you will work your way around each of the brews on offer before casting ya vote. Towards the end of the event, the tokens will be tallied up and the winner of One Night Keg Stand will be announced.

Goldstreet Dairy is a cheesery that was started inside Wildflower Brewing and Blending by chef Colin Wood with his friends, Topher, Chris, and Susi from Wildflower.
From Sunday the 12th onwards we’ll be offering a short menu of Wildflower beer and cheese pairings, all carefully chosen by the teams at Wildflower, Goldstreet and Miss Moses.
Pairings will be available to order over the bar from 12pm on Sunday. We will continue the offering during the week until we run out of cheese!
On the first Sunday of our Pint Of Origin celebrations, we are bringing you a very special edition Run Club! We all meet at 12.30 outside of Mr West to store your things and then leave at 12.45pm. All skill levels are welcome with a 2.5km and a 5km run, ending at Mr West for a free pot of beer as per usual!
On Monday the 13th May we'll be doing a $15 Pizza and Pot special from 6pm.
Alongside a choice of tasty woodfired pizzas you'll get a pot of your choice, from any of our 25 Breweries on offer. A tasty Doppelbock from King River Brewing to compliment a Calabrese Pizza, maybe a Coffee Stout from Salt Brewing to go along with a Texas Brisket Pizza. Or just a smash-able Sou' East Draught from Sailors Grave Brewing to wash down a Cajun Chicken Pizza.

Shining Peak brewery in Taranaki (in Te Reo Māori, tara means mountain peak and naki/ngaki means shining) opened it's doors a mere five years ago, but they've really hit the ground running, taking out chamion small brewery at the 2023 Brewers Guild of New Zealand Beer Awards.
