Mark your diaries!

Travel the world of beer with us again in May 2023

After pulling off an epic Pint of Origin in 2022 despite the challenges of the pandemic, we're excited about the prospects for 2023 – the eleventh time we'll be celebrating the world's best brewers and beers in Melbourne.

We opened applications for venues keen to take part in November and will be locking in the 2023 lineup in December, ready to unveil the grand plan once spring arrives.

The 2023 festival will run from May 12 to 21 and feature all the usual treats, plus those – like our digital passports – introduced for the first time in 2022 as well as some new tricks too. It culminates on the weekend that GABS lands in Melbourne, which will also be when the 2023 Good Beer Week kicks off.

So mark your diaries, dust down your PoO Passports, and get ready for our biggest global beer adventure yet!

The #PoO22 VENUES!

ALL THE PINT OF ORIGIN NEWS!

Thanks to everyone that took part in 2022: the host venues, the breweries that sent beer and attended events, the team that helped pull it off – rebrand, new website and all – in record time. And, most of all, to you: the punters who turned out en masse.

Feedback from venues who've been doing Pint of Origin for years suggests it was as big as – or possibly even bigger than – when it's been run as part of Good Beer Week. So a thousand thank yous for ensuring our gamble paid off – and then some!

See you in May 2023 for number 11!

And. We're. Off! Yes, the big day has arrived... it's time for the tenth Pint of Origin!

Ahead of the launch, we added the final few new additions to the festival for 2022. Host venues can now add live tap lists to their pages so you know what's on tap where and when. You can also use their pages to see what special events – parties, brewery showcases, beer and food pairing, trivia, and so on – are taking place and when.

And once you've signed up for your #PoO22 Passport you can also rate your experience as you go. If you've got any great ideas for making future Pint of Origin festivals even better, you can add them to the site too. For now, your ratings and comments are private – between you and us – rather than shared publicly, and will give you a way a recording your 2022 adventures.

Have a great #PoO22 – hopefully we'll bump into you along the way!

A #democracysausage is all well and good, but this May 21 is all about #democracypoo! Once you've cast your vote, it's time for a #democracypint at your nearest Pint of Origin venue.

You can download one of our How To Drink cards and share with any beer-loving mates who might need a helping hand to make sure they're drinking something amazing, whether they're celebrating or commiserating!

Many of the #PoO22 venues are putting on amazing events as well as pouring great beers all week. Check out individual venue pages for details of parties, beer and food pairing events, beer launches and more. We'll be adding live tap lists to their pages for the festival too.

Make sure you grab a #PoO22 Passports – the all-new digital versions are your key to unlocking bonus beers and, if you're a dedicated traveller, your chance to win epic prizes! Full details here.
