There's great beer to be found all over Melbourne these days, and for Pint of Origin 2024 Freddie Wimpoles is heading south of the Yarra, with a particular focus on the southeast, where you'll find some of the best and innovative breweries in Victoria.
We are lucky enough to be showcasing multiple beers from 14 of these breweries.
Our brewery line up includes the following: CBCo, Boatrocker, Bad Shepherd, Banks, Deeds, BoJaK, 2 Brothers, KAIJU!, Dainton, Westside Ale Works, Stomping Ground Moorabbin, Wolf of the Willows, Brick Lane and Ocean Reach.
Each brewery is bringing a different rotational tap for the ten-day event with froths ranging from barrel-aged imperial stouts and cracking pale ales to American amber ales and even a couple of top secret brews!!
We are bringing you a range of events throughout the week starting with a hospitality boilermaker masterclass on Monday, May 13, craft beer trivia on Tuesday May 14, and rep & brewer Q&A and tasting on Wednesday May 15.
We've got beer and boilermaker tasting paddles available all week, live music and so much more!

Hospitality Boilermaker Master Class
Hospitality boilermaker masterclass hosted by the brilliant Ayla from William Grants & Sons. A free event for hospitality professionals to learn how to pair spirits and why certain spirits work with certain styles of beer. We will be focusing on complimentary and contrasting elements and why being able to pair boilermakers is a big part of working in the beer service industry!

A special Pint of Origin edition of our weekly Shit Pub Trivia!
Grab your mates and test out your local craft beer knowledge in an everything Pint of Origin and South East Melbourne Trivia Night. The usual prizes of $150 in bar vouchers are up for grabs along with heaps of craft beer spot prizes, merch and gift packages thrown in too!!

Brewer and Rep Q&A + Tasting
Ever wondered why a beer is the way is it? What prompted the brewing of a style or why this funky limited release is so delicious?
We invite you to join us and four brewers/reps from our tap line up to discuss the brewing process behind their featured beer and the inspiration for their brews!
This ticketed event gets you an intimate chat with the people behind the beers that make up our Pint of Origin and keep us pouring local beer, a tasting paddle of the beers being discussed, two drink tokens for after the event to try a little more, and a little snackage too!
