South Australian beer is taking its deserved place centrestage this year as the SA Pint Of Origin moves to a Heaps Good new home at Near & Far in Fitzroy.
SA has long been regarded for having some of the nation's top breweries and we'll be showcasing the best of them for ten days from May 10 to 19.
There's so much great beer to choose from so we'll be loading up all of our 21 taps with nearly 50 different kegs over this Croweater extravaganza, including plenty of weird & wonderful concoctions and a couple of collab brews too.

Mismatch collab launch and meet the brewer
What’s more South Aussie than launching a Frog Cake Ale to open up Pint of Origin SA! This Friday is your chance to be the first in the world to try a Frog Cake Ale so don’t miss out! Not only is it green, but it’s a true homage to the iconic South Aussie dessert made pretty much forever by Balfours Bakery in Adelaide.
We set out with Mismatch Brewing to make it taste as close to a Frog Cake as possible and have nailed it using an Oat Cream base dosed with Vanilla beans, a dash of lactose and some secret syrups.
Mismatch head brewer Tom Wood will be in the house from 5ish Friday so all will be revealed then after a few beers!
